This figure shows an overview of the DiaTrack site. A user logs in or registers with confirmation. A valid user arrives at the welcome screen and has a navigation menu providing access to those portions of the site for which they are authorized. All users have access to their own account and to the log out function. On log out a user arrives at the exit screen and must log in again before they can perform any actions.
The site is divided into principal functional areas. These areas are Data Entry, Research, Practice Administration, and Site Administration. These areas correspond to similarly named roles. In addition, the Physician Role has permissions for Data Entry and Research.
