Buddy is a medical clerk at Dr. Ellen’s practice. Throughout the day, as patient visits are completed, Buddy records the information gathered during the visit. Buddy opens DiaTrack and navigates to the Data Entry / Patients screen. He enters the first letters of the patient’s last name in the Name search control and presses go. The screen containing the patient’s name appears and he selects that patient’s Edit button. Under the visits tab he selects “Add Visit” and a new visit record is created. He fills out the visit information and records any measurements, notes, and details provided by the physician.
