The patient data entry screen is a list of patients for the practices related to the current logged in user. The logged in user must be authorized to see Data Entry screens. All list pages in DiaTrack use alternate row coloring, alternating in groups of 3. When there have been no entries made, the initial screen only has an “Add Patient” button.
When there are patients to view, the patient list shows the Name, Gender, Age, and Ethnicity. This is expected to be sufficient to identify patients even when names are duplicated.
The patient edit page is accessed only be Data Entry roles. The page uses a query string to determine if a patient is being added or edited. If there is evidence that the page is being hacked, the user will be logged off.
